Week Two Autumn term two

The children wrote a newspaper article about the Fire of London. The work is on display in the classroom.

In mantle we met Samuel Pepys. He wrote a diary about the fire. He was an eye-witness and saw the fire with his own eyes and wrote about it. The diary still exists today which is how we know about the fire.

In number work the children have been learning about multiplication using arrays and bar model.

On the 11th November it was Remembrance Day. The children made their own poppies to wear and listenened to some wartime songs.

We are learning to measure in centimetres. We have played games on the iPads and learned to measure using a ruler.
