I’m happy to report that our school received $506 from our uniform company as part of the “kickback” program from your purchases. These funds will go toward the purchase of new choir risers. Thank you!

Where is your coat? Did you leave it at school?
A big thank you to everyone for making this event a success! Special thanks to Donnette Diehl and Melissa Sandoval for coordinating.
The SMS First Graders used magnets to explore how they can attract and repel different objects. They pushed toy cars by magnets repelling each other, experimented with how magnets can attract metals through other objects, and used a magnet like a pendulum to see how many things they could pick up at one time. #stem #wearesmcs #we❤️magnets

STEM Fair was a huge success. Pictured here are 8th graders launching tennis balls from their catapult.

Our Turkey Dinner was a huge success for two reasons. First, our dinner raised over $8,000. This is a blessing to the school and I give all the credit to the hard work of our school parents/volunteers. Secondly, I want to give an A+ for community. We had many attend and the day was spiritual and positive on so many levels. Also our Book Fair brought in an additional $2800.

A special thank you to Fr. Wilder, a Dominican priest, for visiting our school from Tennessee. Fr. Wilder is in town visiting his sister, Joann Adair, parishioner at St. Mary’s Parish.
Community - Our STEM Kits Are Arriving! Thank you to our supporters of our Tiger-thon Fundraiser. We have been able to purchase Chromebooks, iPads, and STEM kits for our students.
