Kelly Barnes speaks students during All-School Assembly Barnes has worked with students and teachers around the United States.

Inspirational speak Barnes, of Oklahoma, instructed students to place their left palm out and place their pointer finger on the palm on the person next to them. The point was to catch the finger in your hand while also removing your finger from the other person.

During the assembly, Barnes made students laugh by telling many stories. Most stories were about his daughter, who many students found to be entertaining. Below is Barnes telling a story of his daughter biting her friend's hand.

"'...when he swatted at her, she grabbed is hand mid-air, which is fine to do, but then she bit right on his finger.'"

Student listen as Barnes speaks about his experiences. Barnes spoke about many topics such as getting to know someone beyond their looks.

"Just look past the perception, and get to know the person."

Students raise their hands as Barnes asks questions. Barnes speaks about being late and says that being drastically late, such as by three hours, is fine, but five minutes or so, is not.

"How many of you have ever been late to something? And not late by like three hours, because being three hours late is fine..."

At the end of the assembly, students surrounded Barnes and sang the Alma Mater. Barnes took photos of the students as they sang.

As students sand to Barnes, he recorded. Students got a chance to speak to Barnes after the event. They were asked to tell him their name and one thing they enjoyed about the event.
