Seems like only a few years ago this little girl used to run to me after getting off the school bus.
Now she's all grown up. No longer will I have a daughter that will crawl in my lap when she wants to be loved. No longer will there be a little one to come get in our bed when the thunderstorms come. No longer does she need me brush her hair when it gets tangled.
Someone else will be the new man in her life. Someone else will continue to hold and love her when she gets scared.
