Wild Pedder Newsletter December 2018

There's been a lot of amazing thing happening in the lead up to our 2018/19 season launch:

Tasmanian Tourism Awards Bronze

Wild Pedder was ecstatic to receive bronze in the highly competitive category of Adventure Tourism at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards. The category featured what would arguably be the strongest group of businesses in the tourism awards, with the likes of Roaring 40s Kayaking (Gold), Blue Derby Pods Ride (Silver), Cradle Mountain Canyons, Tassie Bound Adventure Tours and Tasmanian Expeditions as finalists.

We were proud to accept the award among our peers, colleagues and friends. You'll be happy to note that the Adventure Tourism category award winners were some of the last people dancing the night away at the awards night. Roaring 40s owner Jenny Grundy again showing why they took out gold in the category with an outstanding endurance on the dance floor.

Feature in Australian Traveller

We were recently featured in Australian Traveller's 'Ultimate guide to a perfect Aussie summer'.

"As a business, Wild Pedder is still young and guests benefit from the heart, soul and hard work its owner-operators pour into it."

The beautiful spread put together by Imogen Everson really encapsulates the diversity of a Wild Pedder adventure. From mountains high, to lakes below, fine food, comfort and adventure. We've had quite a few great stories written on Wild Pedder, but it's fairly clear that this one really is one of the best, with the beautiful imagery provided by Chris Crerar and words by Imogen.

Dutch Travel Show '3 Op Reis' visit Southwest Tasmania

Wild Pedder Recently hosted the top rating Dutch travel show '3 Op Reis'. It's always a pleasure to have a group of well-travelled individuals come to Southwest Tasmania and be absolutely blown away with the scenery. It just goes to show just how incredibly lucky we are to have this region as our playground!

We still have trips running for this season with spots left, so get in quick before the next Wild Pedder adventure departs!

All the best - Lou & Cody
