The National Society of Black Engineers Fall 2016

Thank you to Dean Irwin for meeting with Ohio Universities National Society of Black Engineer Executive Body & General Body.

Here is an overview of our point system! The point system gives our General Body members the ability to win prizes if they are in first or second place by the end of the Fall Semester. The point system also gives General Body members the chance to earn enough points to get a discounted trip to the National Convention.

Thank you our Guest Speaker who is a Ohio University 2015 Alumna B.S and spoke with us on September 14, 2016. Technology Engineering & Innovation Management. She previously was a NSBE Secretary & NSBE Senator. She currently is a Technology Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co.

JP Morgan Hackathon was a success for Russ College students ... a General body Member and Favour Ogundare Executive Member who took second place in the annual Code for Good Hackathon.

Black alumni weekend was a success!

During '16 Fall Semester NSBE students met with Russ College of Engineering Dean Irwin to talk about different topics concerning the experiences and challenges Multicultural students face as engineering students.
