Event Planning The art of making people happy

What kind of things could you plan?

Event Planning is a very broad emphasis of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism. You could plan meetings, seminars, team building events, sporting events, concerts, charity events, parties, weddings, marathons, retreats, and so much more.

Why am I interested in Event planning?

I have always loved to plan friends birthday parties and I am always way too excited when I get invited to a wedding. I see myself doing really well in this field because I love helping people and especially making people happy. I just love the honest fun that goes into event planning.

Learning is how you grow...

As much as I love this field, I am not well experienced in it. I have been interested in it for a long time but never have been involved with Event Planning. I want to learn how to schedule, how to please the client, how to make the best experience for everyone, how to be successful, and how to incorporate all I learn in RPT and apply it to my career.

How to become an event planner

This video provides you with some key information about event planning and includes what kind of work is involved and what kind of work habits you need to be successful.
