From the Director's desk | A beacon of hope

"The pandemic continues to take its toll. Challenges at every step, yet unless we hold our spirits high, none of the challenges can be met. And in RASA, we keep our spirits high all the time by experiencing and expressing the joy of the arts. I have repeated this time and again that it is the most wondrous, joyous, and fulfilling way to transcend.

Another aspect of RASA is the beauty of its inclusion. So natural to it because, simply, the arts are inclusive by nature. And the past month has seen RASA's special individuals taking up projects of creating awareness about Covid 19 amongst the general public. They have enacted how important it is to wear masks. They have talked about the importance of vaccinations. In different ways, they have expressed their solidarity towards each other, the community and the world at large, just by being the beautiful individuals they are.

RASA offers its prayers for every single being in this world to remain healthy and joyous forever. And even as we offer these prayers, with hope in our hearts for a truly more joyous year ahead, we throw open our portals yet again, to let in scope for new energies to flow in and new sharing to happen at RASA. Admissions are open for online training sessions for young adults and adults with differing abilities for the coming academic year.

We look forward to many special individuals from across the world joining the classes to savour the joy of the artistic experience."
