The IMPACT Scholars Learning Community

Interested in a challenge? The Impact Scholar’s Learning Community is an academic and social cluster of students that have similar motivations and work ethics. These students seek to challenge themselves in critical and reflective thinking, leadership, psychology and philosophy. Students admitted into this Learning Community will be held to higher academic standards. These students will develop intrapersonal skills through experiences provided in and outside of the classroom. Students will also discover and apply connections from interdisciplinary studies.

“Teaching in this learning community is a wonderful challenge that extends my skills as an educator. Meeting our students’ energy and enthusiasm in kind and collaborating with creative, engaged colleagues has brought insights into all my teaching.”

~ Kim Kleinman, Scholars Instructor

Students in the Scholars LC will learn:

• how to apply connections of ideas from interdisciplinary studies

• how to develop interpersonal skills through inside and outside the classroom collaboration
