Cruising 4 A Cause SAFE WATER, SAVE LIVES

Girls and women spend an average of 200 hours per year fetching water for basic necessities. These are hours that could be spent going to school, working, tending a garden, or other important tasks. Instead, girls often walk over a mile to the nearest water source which may be contaminated. Water related illnesses are one of the top killers of children around the world.

Miracles In Action is committed to providing clean drinking water so that children are healthy and can attend school to better their futures.

Water filters are purchased in Guatemala and the women are taught how to properly care for them. Replacement filters are available locally and last for 2 years.

On February 2nd, Miracles In Action will partner with the Naples Princess Cruise and Survivor's Cindy Hall to save lives by bringing clean drinking water to a village in rural Guatemala.
