Framework conditions for innovation How do projects contribute to improve the framework conditions for the delivery of innovation, in relation to smart specialisation?

SEAS 2 Grow

The SEAS 2 Grow project has produced a package of vital publications and tools to boost the silver economy in the 2 Seas region.

One of the project’s key tools is the cross-border Accelerator: this silver economy catalyst gives free support to entrepreneurs creating products that make older people feel happier, healthier and more connected.

SSEnt

The SSEnt project, or Spark Social Enterprise, does exactly that: they offer dynamic support to enable established social enterprises to harness long-term innovation through the implementation of the project’s specially designed Innovation Roadmap.

The project has also launched the online learning platform, Mysocialstartup.eu, which offers a wide variety of accessible tools that help new social enterprises grow through sustainable innovation.

PROFIT

The PROFIT project supports SMEs in the tourism sector to develop innovations. Capitalising on big data and identified territorial DNAs, they designed a range of targeted services, including masterclasses, cross-border Inspiration Trips and a coaching programme tailored to individual SMEs.

In a constantly evolving tourism market, SMEs face major challenges. PROFIT matches the needs of potential visitors with what local SMEs have to offer. The project has generated a number of exciting innovations that can be shared and put into practice by a broad range of businesses.
