Artists Ador and Pipsqueak was here!!! return to the O.D. Gallery after their successful first collaboration in 2018. The artists feel closely connected with animal life and nature in general. In their art they frequently question the relationship between man and nature and the often harmful effects of human behaviour.
Ador is a French artist who creates his own universe full of imaginary human-like characters, inspired by circus performances, caricatures and current events. With his images, from serious to distorted, he responds satirically to man and society. He makes many drawings, paintings, and large murals all over the world.
Pipsqueak was here!!! is an Amsterdam based duo that has been working together in art for many years. The image of a girl and a bear is a recurring theme in their work. They use this as a metaphor for man in his relationship and dealings with nature and the animal world, while that world is getting smaller and smaller due to population growth. They often make work on canvas and recycled wood. Their enormous murals can be seen all over the world.
