Model Wards coming to a ward near you!

What is MODEL WARD Programme?

The purpose of the Model ward programme is to identify and stratify standards of care. These standards have been developed along with experts within the organisation and fall under four pillars: Patient Experience, Patient Safety, Staff Experience and Efficiency. All inpatient wards in our hospitals will be assessed against this set criteria. The feedback following this will act as a vehicle for continuous improvement.

Accreditation is well evidenced in literature. To hear about lived experience of being involved in ward accreditation, watch the following video

This is a video from Salford about what accreditation is & what it means to staff and the organisation at large.

Why am i being informed about this?
