How to French braid hair. By:Alyssa Lohrum

The first step when it comes to french braiding your hair is to brush your hair (Dry or wet). You can have it either way, It is easier to french braid when the hair is dry but it is wavier when the hair is wet.

So for the second step you want to comb all of the hair backwards and then take a small section in the front at the base of your head and separate it into 3 sections.

The third step is to scoop up a section of hair from the left side of your head and add it to the left strand of hair from your three sections.

The fourth step is to take the left big strand and cross it over to the middle. Then take the right strand and scoop up a section and add it to the right section.

The fifth and final step is to keep repeating steps 1-4, once you've braided as far down as you can or as much as you want then you just tie it off with an elastic or a hair tie.
