HOLY SPIRIT IS THE CONTINUATION OF JESUS AND HIS MINISTRY

First off, the pentecost was an impactful event because that is when the holy spirit first entered, or spoke, to them. An example of the ministry of h e holy spirit is in Acts 1: 1-2. As Jesus died for us, the holy spirit was there the entire time. The Spirit is here to give is wisdom and continue the works of Jesus Christ. (issuesetcarchive.com)

THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THE CHURCH

Through the holy spirit, Jesus christ declared for the church to be Gods new community. Jesus is the head of the church and his word is the authority among us. The Holy Spirit is present in the life of the church, causing inspiring in unity, worship and service. His presence is recognized in the church and the church is open to its leadership. Besides this, The holy spirit also leads to a focus on Christ and the gospel, once again inspiring the church and its leaders. (Vatican.VA)

THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKING THROUGH THE CHURCH

We believe in the Holy spirit and trust in it for guidance, strength, and courage. The holy spirit changes us by renewing us and formalizing the work in our ministry! It provides us with the fruits of the spirit, in which we gain not by ourselves but through the Spirits work in us. These fruits empower the ministry for our world. Church leaders and us, as the people of the church, rely on the Spirit to provide us with wisdom and leadership through worship and his truth. (Bible.org)

REFLECTION

As mentioned previously, the Holy spirit is what we count on for peace and guidance. This makes us aware of our true need and desire for correct leadership. Us as humans, cannot depend on our own wisdom to lead us not only through spiritual life, but in all aspects. Without holy guidance in all things, we are lost.

IMPACT TODAY

Although the holy spirit is not a new discovery, we see it in our everyday lives. The holy spirit helps us make wise and correct choices that we ourself could not make. Not only in this, but in the i pact it has on the church and its people. It is the guiding breath of God, who leads the church forward.
