New Terex Finlay 883+ generates pitch perfect product for MD Recycling
MD Recycling, a waste management company in Mid Wales has ramped up the quality and speed of its recycled products after investing in a new Terex Finlay 883+.
Mr Davies said: “.... not only have we noticed a real difference since it arrived, our clients have commented on it too. “The hourly production rate of the machine is considerably better and its ability to cope with wet conditions is amazing.”
883+ Spaleck screener
Our class leading platform is also available with a Spaleck flip-flow recycling screen. This combination is the ultimate in mobile screening and separation technology. At the heart of the screen is the 2 deck German designed and constructed high performance recycling waste screen with Flip-Flow-Screen Elastica. The unique stepped top deck design combined with state of the art flip flow technology on the bottom deck catapults the 883+ Spaleck into a class of its own.
The processing capabilities and application flexibility make the machine the only all in one mobile solution for the processing and separation of recycling materials such as incineration slag, shredder light and heavy fraction, scrap metal, electronic scrap, C&D, C&I, bulky waste, compost, plastic fractions, biomass, topsoil etc
A BUSY recycling company is planning to beat the freeze this winter thanks to investment in new plant.
Soil production at GBM UK once ground to a halt for several months as old screening machinery struggled to cope with wet material.
But the delivery of a Terex Finlay 883+ Spaleck has enabled the company to establish an all-year-round operation for the first time.
The machine, specified by Finlay Plant Northern – part of the Finlay Group of companies – proved its value during a trial last year and is now battling through soil, sand, brick and concrete on site in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
“Soil production accounts for 75 per cent of saleable products from our Doncaster site, but we’ve previously been forced to stop production between November and February because our machines kept clogging up with wet material. The Terex Finlay 883+ Spaleck copes well with the soil, even in wet weather, and that means we’ll be able to screen constantly throughout the year with increased throughput as well.
We have introduced Dual Power technology option for our class leading 883+ and 873 range of heavy duty screeners. This option is also available on units fitted with Spaleck screenboxes.
These industry work horses are factory fitted with on-board electrical motors that allow flexibility from an outside power supply or standard on-board engine.
