Andrew Carnegie A Captain of industry

"No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself, or get all the credit for doing it." - Andrew Carnegie

Why was Andrew Carnegie a Captain of Industry?

From a young age, Carnegie was forced to take a job as a personal assistant for the boss of a big company. He brought home money to his family each day, yet remained poor throughout his childhood. He was working double time his entire life.

He invented the steel industry.

Carnegie took something people didn't think they needed and made it something that everybody needed. Before he popularized it, steel was barely used. Also, he made sure that he was the leader of the steel industry. People would only by steel from him - and that generated a large wealth for him.

He helped the community and donated to charity.

With his newfound wealth, Carnegie was anything but greedy. He donated a large sum of his money to various charities and corporations designed to help others. Apart from that, he donated multiple buildings to the community, including the most well-known one - Carnegie Hall.

with every captain of industry, a robber baron lurks in the shadows. A prime example of a modern-day robber baron - donald trump.

"One of the key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace. Good people don't go into government." - Donald Trump
"Oh, I guess that explains why you're in government." - Skyler Simpson

2 Reasons Why Donald Trump is a Robber Baron (told by Donald Trump)

He's treats other people badly.

"I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bring crime. They’re rapists… And some, I assume, are good people."

Trump flaunts his wealth.

"The beauty of me is that I'm really rich."
