My Definition of Happiness
Happiness to me, is hearing the laughter of my little boy, feeling the love my husband has for me, and many other things. Happiness is something that I strive for on a daily basis.I wouldn't say my happiness is tied to anything monetarily or "things", I would say that my happiness is directly connected to those around me. My family is a huge source of happiness for me.
What Makes Me Successful?
I think that being a good mom and raising my son right will make me feel successful. I also think that being able to provide for my family makes me feel successful. Many of my ideas are based around my family, but one of my biggest indicators of success will be my degree. Having my degree will allow me to provide for my family and feel successful.
Why Do We Suffer?
I think that suffering is simply a part of life. Is it fair? No. Is it necessary? I have a difficult time answering that. I am in a point in life where my family and i are suffering, so it's difficult for me to say that this suffering is necessary. I believe that we learn from each experience with suffering and it makes us stronger.
The Meaning of Life
There is so much more to life than money and material things. As i've grown into a wife and mother i see that now, more than ever. My life meaning is being a good mother, raising my son to become a good person, and be a good person myself. I believe that i was put on this earth to made a positive difference and change lives. That is something I can do without materialistic things. One article hit the nail on the head for me saying, "millennials appear to be more interested in living lives defined by meaning than by what some would call happiness." That is my millennial Meaning.
