Dannielle is a powerful live vocalist and recording artist hailing from Sydney, Australia.

While she is best known as a Jazz and Soul singer, Dannielle is a versatile performer who effortlessly and authentically sings across genres including Pop, Blues, Country and Americana.

As a touring performer she has shared stages with legendary artists such as Jackson Browne, James Brown, Tom Jones, John Farnham and Joe Cocker.

She is an award-winning songwriter whose compositions have appeared on hit TV shows such as Burn Notice, Pretty Little Liars, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

In 2014 Dannielle won the UK Songwriting Contest (Jazz/Blues division) with her song High Dreams and with 2 other songs was listed as a finalist in the singer/songwriter and adult contemporary categories.

Dannielle is an extraordinary vocal arranger whose work has been featured in films, television series and commercials across Australia, France, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Recording Artist

Dannielle has 3 solo albums to her name - You Don't Know Me (2000), Chocolate For Holly (2009) and her latest release The Call (2017).

The Call is an album of 11 original songs all written or co-written by Dannielle. The songs are a mix of genres- Jazz, Soul and Americana.

The Call was recorded at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles and includes input from Grammy nominee Larry Goldings and legendary guitarist Bruce Forman and was mixed by Grammy winning producer/engineer Helik Hadar.

Early in her career, Dannielle was signed to Epic Records in the UK as Danni'elle Gaha where she released a string of singles including Secret Love which was reworked by DJ Danny Lewis to become the top 30 UK hit 'Spend The Night'.

Collaborations and side projects

A prolific songwriter, collaborator and arranger, Dannielle also has a multitude of collaborations and side projects.

Dannielle's duet with John Farnham 'Communication' was a top 15 hit on the national Australian charts.

Dannielle was flown to France to team up with French composer Christophe Jacquelin for the stunning orchestral chill out album 'Leaving The Ozone'. The lead single Even When They Cry was the theme song for the international IMAX film Dolphins and Whales

Dannielle is the front-woman of The Song and Dance Society a collective of A-list musicians including Mark Goldenberg and Jeffrey Young.

Dannielle has also released released 3 EPs and toured the world as co-lead singer of the acclaimed 3 part harmony group The SongBirds (also featuring Grammy nominee Gaby Moreno). The group have performed with Meghan Trainor, Dweezil Zappa and comedy legends Harry Shearer (Spinal Tap/The Simpsons) and Barry Humphries (aka Dame Edna Everage).

Live performances and shared stages

Dannielle has toured extensively as a solo artist, headlining shows in major cities in Australia, the UK, France, Singapore, Sweden and her adopted home the USA.

In 2017, Dannielle toured extensively to promote her album The Call with album launch performances across the world. She also toured Germany and Spain as support act for Latin superstar Gaby Moreno and performed an intimate series of in-studio live shows with Bruce Forman.

Dannielle has performed regularly on national Australian television across her career, one highlight including a featured appearance on Carols By Candlelight in front of a live audience of 10,000+.

Dannielle performed regularly on television in the 90s and 00s including long-running stints as a vocalist on the ITV network's Michael Ball Show in the UK and on ABC Television in Australia (with popular presenters Roy and HG).

Across her career, Dannielle has provided backing vocals live and/or in the studio for Jackson Browne (including a performance at Glastonbury), legendary Australian performers John Farnham, Kylie Minogue, Glen Shorrock (Little River Band) as well as Sting, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Pet Shop Boys and Tom Jones.

More recently, Dannielle has performed live backing vocals for artists such as Ariana Grande, Wiz Khalifa, Meghan Trainor, Dhani Harrison, Grace Potter and Charlie Puth, appearing on major American television shows including The Ellen Degeneres Show, Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live and The 2015 Billboard Awards.
