Here comes December! The greatest season for binge watching romantic comedies and family movies on Netflix is finally here! Here are five holiday movies that are bound to get you excited for the month of Christmas spirit and festivities.

1. The Holiday Calendar

The Holiday Calendar is a Netflix original that was released in early November. This festive filled movie captures the life of a rising female photographer who had been gifted with a special antique advent calendar that contained magical powers. The contents inside of the advent calendar seem to predict the photographer's love life, guiding her towards her true love.

2. The Princess Switch

The Princess Switch was released on November 16th, 2018. It is another Netflix original starring Vanessa Hudgens.

While on a trip to the Kingdom of Belgravia, a baker from Chicago meets a duchess who is about to marry a prince. Seeing that they look almost identical, the two decide to switch lives, where they each unexpectedly find love.

3. The Christmas Chronicles

The Christmas Chronicles was most recently released to Netflix on November 22nd, 2018!

This family comedy film tells the story of siblings who want to capture Santa Claus on video. Their plan turns into an adventure when they meet the real Santa Claus and go on a journey to help save Christmas for all!

4. A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding

A Christmas Prince was initially released late 2017. Netflix has announced that there will be a second movie coming out on November 30th, 2018.

In the first movie, the couple met when a female journalist entered the royal family's home in hopes of finding the inside scoop on the prince's plans to become king.

This movie is an animated children's book that takes place on Christmas Eve. The main character goes to a church, where she begins her journey with an extraordinary idea.

Prince of Peoria: A Christmas Moose Miracle- December 14th

This goofy children's television show is making its' way to Netflix viewers as a film centered around Christmas time. The show is about a prankster prince who wants to experience life as a normal teenager and is currently on Netflix.

5. Christmas Inheritance

The life of a rich, big city girl changes when her father sends her back to his small home town for the holidays. In order to receive her father's company, she must deliver a letter to his former business partner, whom she waits to find. After staying at the town's inn and meeting locals during a snowstorm, she learns the true meaning of Christmas.
