  • Description: Khamkirri the place of the leopard. A convenient location and truly beautiful setting will help you to get into the holiday mood. We encourage you to spend a minimum of 2 nights, as there is so much to see and do. All facilities, camp-sites, tented and self-catering accommodation are situated along the Orange River ensuring stunning river views. This is a family orientated destination for kids and parents to be outside explore and to have a blast in a safe outdoor environment.


  • Camp-sites: Our camp-sites are spacious with, grass and trees, access to power points, normal and blue plug power points (Not all the stands have power points, but a long lead will reach a power point). Our river front camp-site have their own mobile braai and the wash-up area is located at the back of the ablution facility.
  • Tented Camps: This is for a camping style experience without all the extra heavy set up and transporting equipment. Ideal for new campers, overnight stops and quick weekend breakaways.   • Self-catering units: We have 4 larger self catering cabins that can sleep up to 6 people and then we have 4 smaller self catering cabins that are perfectly suited for couples or small family of 3- 4.
  • Self-Catering family units: We have 2 large Luxury self catering cabins. 2 bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen.
  • Family unit 1: This unit has 2 main bedrooms. This unit is perfect for families with babies, toddlers and young children. The unit is open plan with the kitchen lounge area as the main focus and both bedrooms lead off to either side. Room 1 has a db bed and set of bunk beds and the other room has a kingsize bed. Both bathrooms have baths toilet and basin. There is a lovely hot water open air outdoor shower if you don’t fancy bathing. The large patio is under cover with a mobile braai and lovely grass to lie on and read a book or for kiddies to play on
  • Family unit 2: This unit is great for corporate groups, friends and families with older children who would like more privacy. This unit is semi detached thus each room is private. There are ensuite bathrooms with toilet basin and showers. First bedroom has a double bed and single bed. And the second room has double bed and single bed. The kitchen leads off from this room, this is also your lounge area leading onto your large patio with braai and social area. All our units are fully equipped for self catering, large fridges for your cold food needs and comfortable beds with cotton linen and fresh fluffy towels
