2017 Regular Season OAC Champions

No. 23 ranked Mount Union clinched its first Ohio Athletic Conference baseball regular season title with 12-1 and 9-5 wins Sunday at Wilmington. The Purple Raiders now 27-8 overall finish its OAC season at 16-2 to win the regular season title for the first time since 1970 and host the four-team OAC Tournament May 11-13 at 23rd Street Field in Alliance.

Mount Union's women's lacrosse team beat Heidelberg 25-1 Saturday to win the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title and clinch the top seed in next week's OAC Tournament. The Purple Raiders, who have all four regular season titles in conference history, finish the regular season schedule with an 11-3 overall record and 7-1 in the conference. Mount Union will host John Carroll Wednesday, May 3rd at 7:00 PM.

2017 OAC Champions

Mount Union's women's golf team won their second straight Ohio Athletic Conference Championship at the River Greens Golf Course. With the win of the OAC Championships, the Raiders get an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament which is May 10-13 at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas.

The Mount Union men's tennis team finished its regular season with a 9-0 win over OAC opponent Otterbein University Saturday afternoon at Mount Union's Whitehill Tennis Courts. The Purple Raiders finish the regular season with a 14-5 overall record and 7-1 in the OAC. Mount Union will next compete in the OAC Tournament, which begins Tuesday, May 2 as #7 Heidelberg is at #2 Mount Union at 3:30 p.m.

The Mount Union women's tennis team defeated Ohio Athletic Conference Opponent Heidelberg 8-1 Monday night at Heidelberg. The Purple Raiders finish their regular season with an 11-5 overall record and 6-2 in conference play. #3 Mount Union will host #6 Heidelberg Wednesday, May 3 at 3:30 PM at the Whitehill Tennis Courts.

Mount Union's softball team clinches a spot in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament splitting a pair of games with Wilmington. The Purple Raiders, now 18-21-1 overall and 10-8 in the OAC, last made the tournament in 2013 as they won it all with a 5-3 win over Capital. Mount Union will be the fourth seed in the OAC Tournament taking on first seeded Otterbein Friday, May 5 at noon in Westerville, Ohio.
