Although Numerous people think america is all about freedom, opportunity, or a dream paradise, some portray america is artistic. Art has evolved from generation from generation where each is different from each other. It allowed the people to convey powerful messages into something beautiful. Some time period where art was most known for was the Romanticism, Harlem renaissance, and modern art.
Harlem renaissance: The Harlem renaissance was a time where the African american came to america to make a change in their life. During the Harlem renaissance the people were festive and had numerous party. They created a new type of music called jazz which origin characterized by improvisation, syncopation, and a regular or a powerful rhythm. Some instruments include piano, woodwind, brass, and guitar occasionally. Some famous jazz musician include duke Ellington, Langston Hughes, and billie holiday.
modern:Over the centuries, art has made numerous changes to their styles. It has evolved from basic cavemen drawing to the complex and powerful painting we have now. Some of the famous artistic include Takashi Murakami, Jenny saville, Vik Muniz, and etc. They were able to convey deep and powerful meaning to something creative and beautiful.
Romanticism: Romanticism contain many art form such as literature, painting, music, architecture, and more. It came from the western civilization over a period from the late 18th to the mid 19 century. Romanticism is most commonly seen as a rejection of the perception of order, tranquility, harmony, balance, and idealization. It was also a extent of the enlightenment. Some famous artist include Francisco Goya, William Blake, and Eugène Delacroix

The reaper on the moon represent romantism because it symbolize that death is always near. It on the dark side and the sun would represent a new day being born
Starry night is a visual representation because it show how people are not bound by rules. It allow artist to be true to them selves and allow them convey deep and powerful meaning.
