On February 25, 2017 in Mosul, Iraq, over 50 people were either killed or wounded as they attempted to escape the battle with the Iraqi Forces. They were killed by the landmines.
Turkish Rebel groups attacked the Syrian Government on February 23, 2017 in Al Bab, Syria. The rebels ended up killing 22 of the Regime Members.
Many children are currently dying in Yemen from malnutrition and starvation. The Saudi Arabian people decided to stop aiding the children. This has been going on for a few months now.
74 bodies of dead refugees washed up on the shore of Zawiya, Libya. The bodies were found on February 21, 2017.
The people of Saudi Arabia are debating whether or not to raise oil prices to $60. This debate still hasn't been resolved and has been going on since the end of 2016.
The African Union (AU) decided to let Morocco join once again. Morocco hasn't been a part of the AU for the last 33 years. They were allowed back in January of 2017.
The Taliban attacked parts of Kabul, Afghanistan. They ended up killing 16 people and wounding many more. IT started with a suicide bomb that exploded and then members of the Taliban started shooting their guns. This occurred on March 1, 2017.
15 people were executed in Jordan. 10 of them were men who were convicted of terrorism and the other 5 were convicted of other heinous crimes. This is one of the largest mass executions that's occurred in the last 2 years and occurred on March 4, 2017.
Former president Hosni MUBARAK was freed by the EGYPTIAN court after serving some time in prison for killing innocent peaceful protesters back in 2011. He was originally sentenced to life in prison and was freed on March 3, 2017
A syrian military plane crashed near the Turkish border on March 4, 2017. No one was reported dead because no one was found in the cockpit. The pilots parachuted out of the plane. One of them was found and taken to the hospital.
