Delicious Taste This with Fiamma Burgers in Bellingham

Natural, hormone-free beef served on a buttery brioche bun baked daily.

Is your mouth watering?

Add a side of sweet potato fries seasoned with just enough kick and served with a sour cream dill sauce.

That should make your saliva salivate.

If you visit Bellingham, WA, spice up your taste buds with a meal at Fiamma Burger located at 1309 Railroad Ave in downtown Bellingham.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake

Fiamma grounds fresh, hormone-free northwest beef for their burgers and serves them on a buttery brioche bun they bake daily in their own bakery. The environmentally conscious restaurant even delivers their buns by cargo bike. And when you bus your own table make sure to use the compost bin next to the door.

Fiamma serves a variety of burgers. Try the local favorite the B “Ham” Burger topped with cheese, prosciutto, egg, and shoestring potatoes then topped with a smokey sauce. Gluten-free, no problem, order the burger in a bowl. The burger is served on a bed of lettuce. The menu also consists of chicken dishes, salmon, and the good old American hot dog served Fiamma Style.

Other sides, besides the best sweet potato fries around, includes large onion rings, French fries, even Poutine (French fries served with brown gravy, cheese curds and herbs.)

Make sure to sample their mustard and ketchup bar; the chipolte ketchup adds just the right zing to your French fries.

The dining atmosphere is a mix of family-style dining, tables for two, modern and industrial, not your usual fast-food décor.

After you have filled up on a good meal, walk a few doors down for dessert at Mallards. The sixties décor mixed with modern invites you to hang out and just relax.

If you have a favorite yellow duck, leave it with Mallards to add to their collection.

This is not your “usual” ice cream shop. They make their own ice cream, which in itself is not “unusual” but it is the flavor combinations they come up with. Just to name a few of the more unusual ingredients they use—basil, tomato, sweet potato, fresh cloud mtn grape, rose, and your not-quite-usual favorites of strawberry, chocolate, vanilla. All fresh, all local ingredients, and made with a fresh outlook on how ice cream should taste.

You just have to try it to experience it.

So, if you are in Bellingham and want something to fill your stomach and tempt your taste buds, head on downtown to Railroad Ave, you will find just what your hunger ordered.
