Taste of Westside Brought to you by George Washington Community High School Dollars for Scholars

Come and sample the finest food from Indy's westside. George Washington Community High School, Dollars for Scholars, is hosting their 9th annual Taste of Westside event.

Friday, February 24, 2017 — 5:00pm–6:30pm

Location: 1899 Event Center, 164 Steeples Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

The 1899 Event Center is the old dining hall at what was once Central State Hospital. This beautiful venue has lots of free parking and no stairs. (Entry to the grounds is from Tibbs Avenue.)

The Taste of the Westside offers food samplings through the generosity of area restaurants and businesses. A portion size is just large enough for you to enjoy the flavor. Once you have enjoyed the sample, we hope you will want to visit our sponsors and enjoy their full portions. All profits from the Taste of the Westside go directly to student scholarships.

Participating food providers from last year:

La Posada, Working Man’s Friend, Iron Skillet, Burrito Joint, Little Caesar’s, Waffle House, Dawson’s on Main, On the Border, Barry’s and much more. We welcome new participants, Tio’s Mexican Restaurant, and Dairy Queen, and welcome back, Indy Grill.

We have an organization, Scholarship America, that will match up to $10,000 in in contributions. It is a good time to come out and have fun and help support students.

Cost To Be Paid At The Door: Adults… $8.00 Alumni…$6.00 Under 6…Free

Not required but suggested is a call to Ann Kreicker at George Washington Community High School, (317) 523-6927, to mention your intent to attend and the number in your party.
