Below is an outline of simple strategies we can incorporate immediately into our San Diego activation to 1) Expand our event presence and brand footprint and 2) Connect with the fiercely loyal Supercross / Cole Seely fan base heavily engaged on digital media
STRATEGY: Leverage the unique content opportunities the event affords and maximize Cole Seely as a marketing asset.
TACTICS: Execute a layered content plan of easy-to-implement tactics across +RED’s digital media channels focused (but not limited to) Instagram.
Graphic Content
  • Create +RED branded graphics for use leading into event and throughout the weekend
  • Very clean, direct digital assets that include photo(s) of Cole, military-appreciation helmet jpeg, date, time, location, fans / winners details
Video Content

Produce a +RED branded teaser video to drop the week leading into the event:

  • Pull Cole's go-pro footage, shoot practice footage and/or use footage from Anaheim
  • Film personal message from Cole
  • 20 seconds max

Produce a post-event exclusive behind-the-scenes look at +RED at Supercross:

  • Shoot footage of Cole’s race, Petco Park, +RED models & fans in suite, military appreciation helmet, etc.
  • 15-second and 30-second videos for Instagram and Facebook
Photo Content
  • High-resolution photos from press conference, pre-race interviews, suite, race, and more that will be available during / following the activation to post across all social channels
  • High-resolution photos of +RED can, branding, helmet, signage that can be stocked for future use / strategy outside of Supercross
Snapchat GeoFilter
  • Build a Snapchat geofilter that will be available to all Snapchat users in the stadium throughout the duration of the race
  • Use “Welcome to the Revolution” messaging … introduce ~40,000 people to the brand
  • Very low-cost activation that will reach large numbers in a very organic, targeted area
Instagram Stories
  • Create branded stories from the race/suite using high-quality photos & approved graphics
  • Use "learn more" feature that allows viewers to "swipe up" and be directed to the +RED Website and/or Find Buy section of the website
Cole Seely
  • Help Cole to better meet contractual digital media obligations, providing content guided by PRO / +RED
  • Leverage Cole’s following toward the +RED channels, engaging fans through likes, comments, reposts
