Description of Poetry

Collin's describes his poems as very suburban, domestic, and very middle class. Also very gentle, startling, and are very clear with the message he is trying to convey.

Writing Influences

Billy Collin's main writing influences were just to get the worsts poems out of the way. He believed as an individual that every poet has around 200 bad poems in them, and some decide to die with them still in them, and others decide to write them out and exorcise them. Exorcise is exactly what Billy Collins did.
