In college: 7 weeks (16th Jan -3rd March)


Work placement: 3 weeks (6th-24th March)

Mondays: 14.00-17.00

Tuesdays: 09.00-12.00, 13.00-16.00

Thursdays: 13.00-16.00

Fridays: 09.00-12.00, 13.00-16.00

The aim of this course is to equip you with essential skills which you can use in any industry.

We will prepare you for work and help you develop strong employability skills.

Unit 1= "Developing Essential Skills"

Identify Essential Skills for your target jobs

Record details of skills development

Unit 2: "Social Media Literacy"

Online presence for work and personal

E.g. linkedin, facebook, twitter)

Unit 3: "Skills for Customer Care"

Importance of customer care

Meeting customers’ needs

Responding to dissatisfied customers

Unit 4: "Building Own Employability Skills"

CVs, job interviews)

Responsibilities of Employment

Dealing with Work Situations

WEEKS 8-10: "Work placement"

Depends on your preferred sector

5 days a week for 3 weeks
