All Saints CE Primary School 8 th APRIL 2020 Newsletter

Latest Updates

Firstly, a huge thank you to all of the parents who we have spoken to over the last few weeks- you have been so lovely and supportive of the school and everything we are trying to do in these uncertain times. Please know that messages received over the phone, by email or even through Facebook, are passed on to all of our staff and are really giving us a boost- we are very thankful for such a lovely school community!

We would also like to thank you for not using the school provision unless absolutely necessary- we know that lots of you are balancing work and childcare and we understand that this is no mean feat. We are more than happy to provide placements for children where there is no other option, and want to reassure you that everyone who is in school, is working hard to stay safe. Thank you to all of our front line parents and key workers who are serving us all so well.

Finally, if your child is entitled to Free School Meals, then vouchers are on their way out to you as I write. They were posted on Monday evening. We are aiming to email out future vouchers, so if your email address is incorrect and you have not been getting our recent correspondence since school closed, or if you cannot access a voucher over email, please get in touch with the school office asap. The office is manned between 9am and 3pm every weekday. If your call is missed then please do leave a message and someone will call you back.

Google Classrooms

Just a reminder that staff will not be adding work over the Easter break but please feel free to use the site and fill in the reflection log to tell us what you have been up to.

If you get stuck with Google Classrooms please email helpmrsp@asasps.org and Mrs Palmer will get back to you as soon as possible.

Free AUDIBLE stories for kids

For as long as schools are closed, they're open. Right now, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids!

This YouTube channel is run by a teacher and her little girl. They have some amazing, fun maths games and also some tutorials for maths methods. We have used them in school before and they are really well explained! They also use lots of concrete equipment and suggest things which you may have around the house to use.
