Hello! My name is Julia Knudsen. I am from Nampa, Idaho and am studying Elementary Education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. One aspect of that is integrating technology in the classroom. Some examples of how I might do that are below.
Interactive Student Response System
There is a link to a Kahoot below that exemplifies using an interactive student response system as a formative assessment in the classroom. The Kahoot evaluated students' knowledge of comparing and ordering fractions. A video demonstrating use of the Kahoot is also included.
Flipped Classroom Lesson
A link to an example of a flipped lesson that I created is below. This lesson involved the water cycle and the states of matter. A video demonstrating use of the lesson is below as well.
I created an interactive presentation using Nearpod. This lesson was a review of homophones, their definition and some examples, with assessment included as part of the presentation. A video demonstrating use of the Nearpod presentation is also included.
A link to a WebQuest that I created is below. This WebQuest involved learning about the Lewis and Clark Expedition, as well as collaborative and reflective writing. A video explaining the use of the WebQuest is also below.
