Leo IX

Leo IX was born in now Eguisheim, France. The Catholics 151st pope, he was declared a saint by the church.

Leo became the Pope at the age 47 and he was given the name Leo IX, he always tried to eliminate the churches evil.

After Leo IX died, his military fought the final split between the Eastern and Western churches, this was known as the great Schism. .

St. Dominic

St. Dominic’s fellow preachers became a community and he found a house at Toulouse and then began the orders of Dominicans.

St. Dominic was a Spanish priest and is the founder of the Dominican order of friars.

St. Dominic was ordered to link a religious life with god. He had to pray and study different things to learn more about him.

St. Francis of Assisi

St Francis of Assisi was expected to follow the footprints of his father by having the same businesses.

St Francis of Assisi had a great love for animals and nature and he had many followers from all over the globe.

After St Francis of Assisi’s fight between Assisi and Perugia, Francis was captured and spent around a year in prison.
