Dock the headset and turn power on. The headset will automatically pair to the base unit. This is indicated by a blue flashing light.

The headset is now ready to use on your desk phone.

Connecting the X400 to a PC

SWITCH THE HEADSET TO THE PC MODE BY PRESSING THE PC/TEL BUTTON, WHICH WILL LIGHT THE BLUE PC SYMBOL ON THE BASE STATION.

Insert Micro USB in to the base station and the USB 2.0 into PC

Set Switch to position 2 on switch to the left side of the base station.

USB DRIVER WILL INSTALL AUTOMATICALLY

You will see the driver installing.

Go to your control panel

Go to sound and double click > set headset as your default Communications device & default device.

Go to properties > levels > make sure microphone is turned down.

This will stop your microphone picking up surrounding sound and playing it back through your headset when not in use. Depending on some versions of Windows this can be set to 50%.

Use this device enabled

Please now restart your computer to allow the settings to take effect.

You are ready to go!

We hope you enjoy the headset.
