POSC 315 Journey in Advocacy (Spring 2019)

POSC 315 - Journey in Advocacy is open to ALL MAJORS and is ideal for students who want to learn how to be effective advocates for the policy issues that are most important to them.

As part of the course, students will take a 1-2 day trip, during Spring Break, to Sacramento where they will practice advocacy with California legislators - and this is provided with NO PROGRAM FEES thanks to university funds, so students only pay for normal course registration. This makes the course a great opportunity to participate in a study away experience for students who can't do traditional study away/abroad.

So if you're interested in public policy, social justice, and nonprofit work, and would like to learn more about career development and policy leadership opportunities - don't hesitate to apply!
