What is the Triangle Factory Fire?
The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in New York City on March 25, 1911 was the deadliest industrial disaster in the history of the city, and one of the deadliest in US history back than before 9/11.
How did the fire start?
The fire started in a wastebasket on the eighth floor, and the flames jumped onto the paper patterns that were hanging from the ceiling. Soon, the building caught on fire.
During the fire
During the fire, a worker named Yetta had courage and decided to make sacrifices and would help the other people who probably wouldn't have made it out without her.
It wasn't too long until she gave up, she witnessed to many deaths, either a suicide, fights to get out, or people burning to dust.. Soon it was every person for themself.
