Epilepsy is a disorder that causes you to have seizures without any warning signs. Just because you experience a seizure it doesn't mean you are an epileptic. To be diagnosed with epilepsy a person has to have suffered from many seizures without warning.

In an interview Lil Wayne had he said that ""No warning, no nothing, I don't feel sick. I get headaches real bad." He has also reported that one night he went to bed and then woke up in the hospital.

Lil Wayne says that when he was diagnosed with epilepsy it wasn't his first, second or even third seizure but that he has had close to 10 seizures. he says the he doesn't know what it feels like because he instantly blacks out and wakes up when they are over.

Lil Wayne says that the worst seizure he has ever had was went he suffered three seizures in a row, and the third seizure was so bad that his heart rate dropped to around 30% which could have caused him to die.

As of now there is no cure for epilepsy but you can take medication that will help with the seizures. although there can be other treatments for epilepsy, it is very rare that they will work so most of the time people are just given medication.

Most recently Lil Wayne suffered two seizures aboard his private jet which caused two emergency landings

After this scare Lil Wayne says he went to see a doctor who gave him some pretty strict orders. He says that he is now taking medication to help prevent seizures. He was also advised to drink up to four bottles of water a day

Ever since Lil Wayne was diagnosed with epilepsy he hasn't let it affect him or his career, but just recently on September 3, 2016 wayne announced his retirement from music. he says that he is done for now but says that he will start rapping again if his record label settles his alleged back pay.
