Get In Line why queue when someone will queue for you?

Our app is called Get In Line. Its purpose is to ensure that our users do not miss out on the concert tickets, newly released games, and the rest, that they crave.

Inspired by Uber, with Get In Line you can arrange for one of our employees to queue on your behalf. We believe our app will be a success with millennials as time is ever the more valuable in such fast pace societies.

Why waste time waiting in line when you can pay a small fee for someone else to?

Get In Line was also inspired by Robert Samuel, the creator of the New York business, ‘Any Ole Line Dudes’. The concept of paying for someone to wait in line for you is the same, however, our unique selling points are that we allow anyone to become self-employed with our business and that we operate in the UK’s major cities. Therefore, our employees can choose their own hours and work in their chosen location(s). Also, our customers are not just limited to one event in one city, the options are limitless…

Rates of Pay

The payment has to be within the law so has to be at least minimum wage: £6.70

A fixed rate of £10 to start off would make the app clear and understandable and the customers would know what to expect

Every extra hour that the queuing takes would add an extra £7 to the price. If the time is half an hour it would then be £3.50, the price would be worked out around the time.

This may seem expensive but it has to be within the law and the richer customers would be willing to pay these prices as it may not seem like a lot for them.

There are several ways the product will be advertised such as on Facebook as seen in the picture below. This can also be copied again on other social media apps/sites like twitter, Instagram and even snapchat. Helping promoting the app to a larger audience.

Vodafone advert on Facebook

Another way the app will be advertised is through the use of sponsorship from other apps i.e games like letter soup and wood puzzle, which are accessible free games on the app store. Its important to consider how they earn revenue which is by allowing other apps to share their games inside the app in-between players games . This a successful way to advertise any game because I have often purchased a game from this exact process. This is important to consider because we are a part of the audience that we’re targeting.

A third way the app will be advertised is through youtubers, big Youtubers like Joe Sugg, Caspar Lee etc all use sponsors to gain money. As they’re so popular it makes sense to use youtubers to gain revenue. This will also make the app popular amongst an even larger audience as more will follow their idol than they would follow a facebook add. This will more likely have a higher success rate.

Caspar Lee worked with the popular app Tinder to make this video.

Being that our ‘Get in Line’ application is a replacement for something which could easily be done by any mainstream person, our audience then transfers to a niche population who can afford to spare money on non-essential services/ products. However, given the localisation of our app and the fact that we won’t have to pay salaries, it allows us to offer it to everybody.

Our application has so many benefits for so many age groups. 18-34 year olds who seek the brand new technology can use it if they are at work and do not have time to line up. Senior citizens who cannot commute well, may find it beneficial when requiring collection of medication and

In addition, advertisements will be distributed based on the demographic of the area. This will allow for the maximisation of exposure to a brands target audience and therefore, intrigue more business to promote through our app. Increasing potential revenue and profit.

We can expect most revenue to come through citizens in the A and B of the socio-economic status, their willingness to spend can be essential to our organisation.

However, given that there is an interaction between two strangers we will place a strict age rule to make sure that children are protected. ‘Liners’ will already go through a strict background check to make sure they do not have a previous history, however, people under the age of 16 will not be allowed to use the app for safety reasons.
