Dear Friends, I'm excited to return to The Beach House in 2017 for a Surf and Yoga weekend. Situated in the heart of Woolacombe, we will practice vinyasa yoga every morning, surf with great local instructors, then recover with a restorative yoga practice and meditation before bed.

Woolcombe Beach is an award winning beach! Voted Number 1 in the UK. Accommodation at the Beach House as a small luxury hostel, with an array of ‘pods’ in rooms to comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 people and meals are provided over weekend.

What to bring: Yoga mat! Yoga wear, clothing of all possible July weather conditions on the south coast of England ( a waterproof and a bikini?), a towel.

Your Tutors: Emily Young (E-RYT 500) shares a warm and inclusive vinyasa teaching style, she is a Yoga Alliance teacher trainer, and has delivered retreats, workshops and teacher training's across Asia, Europe and the USA. Emily is always learning through yoga, studying Ashtanga yearly with her teacher Ajay Kumar in Mysore, having trained in Hatha Philosophy in Northern India, studied Buddhism in Nepal and with strong influence form practitioners such as Kathy Cooper, Shannon Gannon and Tara Brach. Emily is a Senior Lecturer in Children's Health and Well-being at Edge Hill University in the UK and in 2017 is delighted to have been announced as the Soul Circus Festival's Chief UK Ambassador. Your investment of £285, includes accommodation, meals, all yoga, surf lessons, surfboard hire, wetsuit hire and a goodie bag! It does not include: transportation, insurance, drinks. A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your place.

Arrival is from 2pm on Friday 7th July, your first yoga class will be at 3.30pm followed by a delicious meal at the beach house. Getting there: Address to the Beach House: Granville Terrace, 3 West Road, Woolacombe, Devon EX34 7BW. There are many bus routes to Woolacombe and the nearest train station is Barnstable.
