CSIGNSPORTS HOCKEYPARKS

Hockey is increasingly becoming more technical and faster. These days, 3D techniques, lifting skills, drag techniques and a wide variety of passing movements have to be part of the skill set of the ambitious player. Those skills require training, time and specific exercises. Csignsports and Recreational Systems International have developed various Cisgnsports Skill Park formats to facilitate this.

CSIGNSPORTS SKILLS PARKS

Csignsports has developed a skill trainer with 3D obstacles that help train in stick handling, speed and skills in small areas.

We offer this Skill Park as a training tool for hockey clubs. The available budget and space determine the creation of a custom-made Csignsports Skill Park.

Upon your request we can produce a Skill Park in your club colors.

SCOOP!

Hockey club Oranje-Rood in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, was the first to embrace the Skill Park concept. Here, both the ambitious as well as the playful child, will be able to navigate the various Skill Trainers and possible exercise patterns.

WHAT'S TO PRACTICE?

Csignsports Skill Parks are fitted with various Skill Trainers that offer various lift/wave, dummy and drag techniques as a basis. All exercises were developed in cooperation with former international hockey player Robert van der Horst. It is possible to do various trials and relays but the Skill Park also enables the improvement of challenging technical skills. That is a big advantage for young players!

INSTALLATION

Like the various field concepts offered, the Cisgnsports Skill Park is exclusively built by Recreational Systems International.

Skill Parks can be installed from 91m2 up. A modular panel system allows for the quick installation of a park. The Base Panels provide a level, stable, well-draining, shock-absorbing subbase. The same sustainable and innovative solution is used when installing a full-size hockey field.

The special patterns of the innovative Skill Trainers with 3D techniques, are installed in the high-quality artificial turf field that can be supplied in the colors of the club.

Csignsports and Recreational Systems International combine excellent service that focusses on innovation. We continuously consider new trends and technical developments.

BENEFICIARIES

A Csignsports Skill Park will be useful for all members of a club! In particular children from the age group of 5-6 up to 18 will improve their skills when the exercises are part of their training. The less experienced, recreational hockey players can use the park to improve the handling of the stick. Other than that, a Skill Park allows for improving one’s condition and coordination without the need for a hockey stick. Children that use the park during their spare time will benefit from the extra practice. A Skill Park guarantees hockey fun as well as an improvement of motor skills and technique.

In addition, it offers a club increased field and training capacity. Spending time in a Skill Park during a training session will relieve the main field.

ACTIVATION

Skills Parks: Oss, Oranje Rood en Schiedam

The activation of the park is a responsibility partly shared by the club, as they will have to encourage trainers to use or stimulate the use of a Skill Park. This can be achieved through presenting the Skill Park to the trainers, by allocating time for using the park during training sessions, and by allowing the youngest members of the club to experience the park.

Young players in particular tend to take a run-and-play approach when granted the freedom. A Skill Park will grant them the perfect opportunity to acquaint themselves with hockey. Csignsports will ‘feed’ the club with exercise material that trainers can use in their sessions. This includes flow directions for specific Skill Trainers. This is supported by video tutorials. A [theodoor] app will challenge young players to do the exercises.

COMMUNICATION

Csignsports will provide promotional video material of a Skill Park that a club can distribute by means of its social media channels.
