Compassion tatum mills

com·pas·sion: sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others.

Compassion, in my oppinion, is humanity's greatest strength. Compassion is shown in so many different ways and it can make such a huge difference in so many ways. It doesnt matter how big or small this act of compassion may be, it could change someones life believe it or not. Humanity may not seem so compassionate sometimes but people dont see it the way others do. People nowadays may think that humanity is going down hill because of everything thats going on in the world and how badly people are behaving. But what those people do not see are the good things about humanity like compassion.

Compassion is a genuine sympathy for hardship or suffering that other people are experiencing, and a desire to ease that pain. There are many different ways to show compassion for others; the important thing is that it comes from your heart. Ignore differences and find commonalities to help you relate to what someone else is going through. Whether you’re interacting with a friend, colleague, peer, patient, or family member

Compassion arises through empathy and is characterized by actions. The simple act of showing compassion can make a world of difference in someone’s day. You don’t need to wait for a crisis to practice compassion, either. Try smiling at a stranger today or trying something new like volunteering at a homeless shelter or an animal shelter. Try finding some old clothes you dont wear and provide them for someone who needs them. Change someone life today.

I chose Lean On Me as a song to represent compassion because Bill Whithers is say to lean on me when youre afraid and alone and in need of a friend. Its compassion thats being shown throughout the lyrics.
