The Canadian Rockies is one of the most awesome places in the world. Out of the Northern Rockies, Southern Rockies, Middle Rockies, and Brooks Range the Canadian Rockies are the biggest. The Canadian Rockies stretch about 7,000-12,000 feet. The Canadian Rockies are on the west side of Canada and on the east by the Canadian Shield. The Canadian Rockies extend for about 1,000 miles from British Columbia. About 50 of the peaks in the Canadian Rockies are about 11,000 feet. The Canadian Rockies mountain range spans the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.
Celine Dion is a famous Canadian singer and I am going to tell you some facts about her. Celine Dion was born on March 30, 1968. Celine is still alive and is 48. Her full name is Celine Marie Claudette Dion. Her parents are Therese and Adherr Dion. She is the youngest of 14 children. In her career she preformed ''The Power of the Dream'' in the 1996 Olimpics. Celine is the second highest earning musician in history. Celine has 50 million records world wide!!! She won 6 awards in the Bill Board Music Awards in the late 1990's. She does Pop music. One of her songs is the theme to Beauty and the Beast. On January 25, 2001 Celine became a mom to a little boy. 9 years later, on October 23, 2010 she had 2 twin boys. Celine is an extremely talented singer.
Victoria Day is a very special Canadian holiday. Victoria Day is celebrated on the last Monday in May. Victoria day celebrates Queen Victoria's birthday. Queen Victoria's birthday is 25 of May. It is a Canadian Public holiday. The dates change every year. Victoria Day is also known as the beginning of summer. Victoria Day has been celebrated sense at least 1845 on Queen Victoria's birthday. Victoria Day is celebrated with parades, firecrackers, and fireworks. It is also called the Firecracker Day. This year Victoria Day falls on May 22, 2017. Victoria Day is a very special Canadian holiday and it will always be.
