Nate Lashley, formerly of Scottsbluff, qualified for the U.S. Open, put together a top 30 finish, and then ended the month with a bang. Lashley was the last man into the field as an alternate at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and cruised to win wire-to-wire, by six strokes for his first PGA Tour win. He's just the fourth native Nebraskan to win on Tour, and the first in more than 30 years. Our own Will Morris talked to Lashley about his win and what it means to be a a PGA Tour winner, listen to the interview at the button below.

The Country Club of Lincoln is prepared to host the 111th Nebraska Amateur Championship July 8-11. This year will be the club’s 12th time hosting this championship, and only three other clubs have hosted more times. It was also the first club to host the championship outside of Omaha in 1924. A full and loaded field of 156 players will compete, including the three-time defending champion Alex Schaake of Omaha. Schaake will be looking to join the great Bob Astleford of Omaha, as the only players to win four straight titles. Tap the button below to read the full preview.
