Children's Water Festival 2019 Event Recap

Event Background

The Children's Water Festival entered its 16th year in 2019, and it marked the 5th year that Pierce Conservation District has organized the event. It was hosted by the University of Puget Sound, meaning that the 5th graders enjoyed a visit to a college campus as they learned from local experts and educators. Activities included wildlife demonstrations, field games, and interactive lessons. Thanks to volunteer support and our generous donors, schools participate at no cost.
