Boom to Bust! the Great Depression of the 1930's

Introduction

During the 1930s the great depression came was a big event during this time. Our economy fell apart and everything we had nothing. Families were poor they had nothing to help themselves.

Homelife was not good at all moms and their kids suffered with nothing as their dads worked hours just to make little money during the job. Kids had to work through this time as moms had to try and care for the kids. They lived in hoovervilles most of the time and could not do much.

Women does not have a home but has to survive outside as she lost her house

People waiting outside their untrustworthy bank to try and get their money back

Dust storm tumbling over a small town

the start of this disaster was thee economy people invested so much stock and trusted the banks with their money too much until everything crashed people could not at all get their money back. They would work hard to try and get all of it back but none of the money back.

When standing on their tractor taking a break after work

Leisure time

During this time fathers would work and not do anything but in their little free time they would try and get food for the kids and mothers to stay alive. They did not have a house so they would try to make do with little shelters they made.

Overall the 1930s was not a very good time for any human being with the hard ways like having no houses or no money. People strongly suffered to stay alive.
