Who is the UC Neighborhood? We're your libraries, parks, Soil & Water Conservation, and Cooperative Extension. We're your Farmer's Market, storytimes, field trips, and canoe rides. And everything we do is for you.

Parks & Recreation

Union County Parks and Recreation and Cane Creek Park hours

Union County Parks and Recreation and Cane Creek Park hours have changed to 8:00am – 5:00pm. We will be closed December 23, 24, 25, 26 and January 1.

Cabin Rentals

Cabin rentals are now $30 per night from December through February! Visit unioncountync.gov/parks to make your reservation today!

New ONLINE registration software will be available in 2019!

The NEW Lakeside Lodge at Cane Creek Park

This indoor facility can be rented for birthday parties, family reunions, organizational trainings and other approved events!

POLAR EXPRESS

Saturday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the Monroe Library. Families are welcome to enjoy fun crafts, hot chocolate, and a visit with Santa. Pick up your tickets now at the Children’s Department or at the door on Saturday.
