Color Craze: Final Youth Event of the Year, May 2, 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., Hopedale Lot: The last - and best - event of the school year is here! Join us for a Wild and Wacky Color Craze. Missions’ Summer Care Kits Collection, now-May 31: Throughout the month of May, we invite you to make “Summer Care Kits” at home to benefit the homeless. Charlotte can be very hot and humid in the summer, and we want to take care of our vulnerable communities. Refer to the image above for a list of items to put in your kits. We recommend placing the items in gallon-sized ziploc bags. Keep the care kits in your car, and you can readily administer them to people in need! Border Mission Trip, June 2-7, McAllen, Texas: We invite you to join a border experience with Rev. Nathan Arledge to learn about border ministries and life on the border. You will assist in welcoming legal asylum seekers through the ministry of presence and witness and help further our church’s budding relationship with First UMC McAllen.
