I really liked the vibrant colors and the texture of the brush strokes. It communicates a sense of a lively and exuberant cityscape. This piece reminds me of being in a big city surrounded by neon lights.
I liked this small corner of the museum where you can step into a small enclosed garden. It's very bright and vibrant. The exhibit makes me feel like i'm on a nature tower, but in reality i'm in the middle of the museum.

This photo from 1980, depicts two men thanking an old "Mixe God" for a bountiful harvest, but when I first saw the photo I interpreted it as enjoying the beauty of life and taking in the little things. It instills a feeling of warmth.
Frida Kahlo is pictured painting a subject in her hospital bed. She continued to pursue her dreams and embraced her art despite her dire state. This embraces the theme of embodying the good life. She enjoyed her career and wanted to continue her dream until her time would come.
