Vanderbilt university Baseball

I believe that vanderbilt university baseball deserves new practice bats but there is controversy over what bats to buy. I concluded that most players use maple or ash but i will be comparing what type of bat will be better for the long run for the players and the university.

Maple vs. Ash

Maple bats are known for their hardness.
The older they get the less durable they are.
Maple bats are heavier than ash bats which can mean less bat speed.
Some players use ash bats for the lone reason that they are lighter with then means more bat speed and then more power.
My decision for the team is the maple bats because of the durability and the popularity of the bat.
