RIGHTING A WRONG: DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY STORMWATER GRANT FUNDING NOW AVAILABLE TO PORTS
In 2015, WPPA unearthed a problematic internal policy at the Department of Ecology that made port districts ineligible for stormwater grant funding. This summer, this source of funding for stormwater management will become available to ports, following four years of dedicated effort to change the inequity.

ANTIFOULING PAINT FOR RECREATIONAL WATER VESSELS: AN UPDATE
Recently, the Department of Ecology held a webinar to update stakeholders on the progress of implementing 2018’s HB 2634, which addressed (among other toxics) antifouling paint containing copper on recreational water vessels.
