What you need to know in order to successfully plan your marketing strategy and budget for the 2017-2018 academic year
Marketing has developed resources and guides that will assist the departments and programs within the College of Applied Studies and Academic Success (CASAS).
Create a one-page quarterly marketing strategy for your department or program.
Create a quarterly budget request spreadsheet that corresponds with the marketing strategy.
Conduct two focus groups with at least 5 students each in order to gauge what marketing content is relevant and appealing to them in regards to utilizing CASAS services.
By the end of March, you will submit your one-page strategy and your budget request spreadsheet to the Dean of CASAS.
Your research and efforts will aid in determining the best ways to market your department or program's features and services to students. Over the summer, plan to communicate frequently with your Project Manager to ensure that your projects begin and end on time, and that you are on the distribution list for proofing and edits. This comprehensive strategy will help get the word out to students about what your department and CASAS can offer them to assist in their progression toward academic success and graduation!
